What We Do
Jane's Background
Jane is a graduate of New York University School of Law. She has successfully practiced law for many years in many different forums, beginning in the Corporate & Securities section of a major New York City law firm, and moving in-house as EVP and General Counsel for a national real estate investment company where she also ran three operating subsidiaries. She had a rewarding solo practice in San Diego, CA. Prior to founding Optimus Legal, Jane was Corporate Counsel, Dallas and Director of Legal Services of a national legal placement firm.
Jane is the Past Chair and a current Council Member for the Corporate Counsel Section of the Dallas Bar, a past Chair and Council Member of the Corporate Counsel Section of the State Bar of Texas, and a past‐President of the DFW Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. She currently serves as President of Women’s In-House Network, a DFW based organization for in‐house attorneys. Jane is an active member of the National Association of Women Lawyers and is active in a number of non‐profit organizations. She is a member of the Texas, California and New York Bar.
Our Focus
In addition to providing one-on-one coaching, Optimus conducts workshops for attorneys and executives. We are often called upon to consult with legal departments and law firms on staffing and strategic initiatives. The unique breadth and depth of our experience in law firm and in-house environments, as well as in business, provides a foundation of real world knowledge and experience that helps all of our clients to achieve even greater success
